PS3 Best Buy Warranty Question?

I was wondering a couple of things;

1. Is it a replacement warranty, meaning will they give me a new unopened one or will they send in for repair.

2. Will I have to buy another 2 year warranty if I use it or is it unlimited replacements for 2 years.

Yes

They'll replace the unit and unlimited amount of times within the warranty (1 Yr). After the first year if you replace it again you'll need to purcahse another 2 year warranty.

Question about the Product Replacement Plan warranty..........


Is it transferable? I am buying a PS3 off of Craigslist and I will be getting all of the original receipts showing the PR Plan. Is that all I will need? Will it be a problem that it won't be in my name? What are the formalities of the exchange through the Product Replacement Plan?

I really appreciate any insight. Thanks!




After doing some research, it appears some are able to exchange it in the store and others have to send it off. What is the consensus on the exchange?
