If you were the executive at SONY Computer Entertainment, what would you have done differently in regards to the PS3's launch strategy? Same applies for the 360.

PS3 - Make Sure we had more launch games

360 - Would release it a year after we originally did because we built them like ****. Either that or implement a 2 year warranty.

PS3:the price for the 60GB PS3 $500 and 20GB $400-450 and have more exclusive titles

360:waited a few months longer to release the 360 to make sure theres not alot hardware problems

360: 1 SKU, better design and heat management inside of the system

PS3 - take out Blu-ray, launch system earlier.

360 - problems are post launch. It seems that many xbox 360's have a life of only 6-18 months. Now that the defects are known they must be addressed with a re-design.

PS3 - make Blu-Ray an add-on (like HD-DVD drive for the 360)
360 - don't mind multiple SKUs, but bundle HDD with all SKUs (like PS3)

They should learn from one another.
