Re: Playstation Network and Discussion Part Deux

I might get WOF, but Jeopardy! was kind of disappointing, so I'll wait on some reviews.

Oh and that one 3 run bomb you hit was epic with the music playing in the background. Excellent cinematography by you.
Thanks. I should be back with an update on it tomorrow

Now this is interesting about Rag Doll Kung Fu that I read on PS3 IGN:

Quote:
A fast-paced combat game with an imaginative look and feel, Ragdoll Kung Fu: Fists of Plastic focuses on fun with exaggerated ragdoll physics action and charming High Definition (HD) visual effects. Featuring accessible and intuitive controls, even novice players can orchestrate impressive attacks with ninja-like precision. Additionally, hardcore players will appreciate the deep combat system, weapons use and strategy. Success depends mightily on the player mastering the basic Kung Fu moves and sharpening his acrobatic skills by swinging off platforms and somersaulting through the air. This action builds up Chi Power, which can be conjured to perform spectacular SIXAXIS wireless controller-triggered special attack moves and combat sequences. Furthermore, players can taunt their opponents with the Free Pose system, ensuring the battle is infused with lighthearted fun.

Players can perfect their Kung Fu skills in the Solo Adventure and also take their characters online with a variety of addictive free-for-all and team-based multiplayer modes, including King of the Hill, Assassin and Capture the Fish. Perfect for any social occasion, Rag Doll Kung Fu: Fists of Plastic offers frantic multiplayer action with up to 4 players locally or online.
I thought there wasn't any online play?

Capcom's PSN PSone games head west

Quote:
Capcom's forum-loving biz-dev man Christian Svensson has said that PSN versions of some of the company's PSone games are due on the US PlayStation Store soon.

Responding to a typically mild-mannered stream of forum invective about the presence of games like Resident Evils 1-3 on Japanese PSN, Svensson said: "The first PS1 titles for PSN were submitted [for US certification] last week... When I have some dates for them, we'll let you know what and when is going to happen."

Then he added: "Word I got back this morning is that this may take a bit more time than anticipated. We'll keep folks posted. And for now I'm still not discussing what title(s) they are. We'll discuss it when we're through the pipe a bit further."

Siliconera (thanks vg247) has done some speculating, however, listing Capcom games already rated by the US ratings board, including a host of Mega Mans, Resis, Street Fighters and some other possibles, including Breath of Fires III and IV and the Dino Crisis duo. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure might be fun too.

The earlier link said something about only local multiplayer, and when I looked at the comments below an administrator (and perhaps developer of this game) was confirming that as well, saying they had to scrap online play.

Anyone know how much this game will run me? Again, I don't want to be spending over $20, but if this game really is the **** then I may.
