Anyone else had this problem with the 360?

Yeah one day after it comes back I go to pop in All Pro Football 2k8 and it popped up a message saying "Please Place This Disc in a Xbox 360 console" in like 15 different languages. The customer service rep called tonight to confirm I had the console and the first thing he said was "That may not be good."

So far it has done it twice with APF 2k8, but oddly if I load NCAA 2007 before, then put in APF it works fine.

Am I screwed (again) or could this just be a fluke?

The DVD drive is going....screwed...sorry...it sucks..believe me I know..

I had this problem with my first console when I first bought it. First intermittently, but then it increased. I had to send it back.

You have got to be ****ing kidding me! Seriously I just got the console back after it was gone for 2.5 weeks and after it died for a third time. I am to the point I don't think it would be unreasonable to demand a brand new unit.

I used to get that message when I tried to play GoW, but it eventually stopped

Mass, that is one reason why I'm staying far away from ever having MS repair my 360. I bought the warranty from the store and would rather take my chances with them than waiting 2-6 weeks for my console to be repaired and then have it arrive only to be broken again.

had it happen for forza 2 for me before my 1st 360 **** out on me.

Before they quit they usually start to lock up. That's how my 360 went.
