I am getting sick of all these new SKU's! However, the HD-DVD internal drive seems to have been around in some form or another for quite a long time. I guess I wouldn't be surprised if that thing replaced the Elite since there is nothing (outside of color) that sets it apart from either the Premium or the Core since both include HDMI and the new infrastructure now and the 120 GB hard drive can be purchased separate. As for the rest of the rumored inclusions, I have no idea.

Eh, this one doesn't bother me as much, they are saying late 2008 to early 2009 for it to just be announced.

This is way away from being released, but it would make me consider buying it....would be nice to combine the 360 and the HD-DVD drive, plus quieter fans etc. If it somehow had the HDTV tuners and whatnot I'd be amazed.

I hope this isn't the overall direction the game industry is going in. Another SKU 4 years after the initial release? This after already having two new SKUs two years after release?

Eh, there really was only 1 extra SKU, the Elite. The Arcade and new Premiums are modified versions of the original core and premiums. I think all consoles have gone through redesigns throughout their life cycles.
