cool, i dont have any old files on my hdd, so it should prompt for a download, but it says head to the support page at xbox.com.

hmmm, maybe some behind the scenes issues on this game at the moment.

yeah, my nfl2k5 works just fine.. just this nhl hitz pro for some reason wont work.

ok, after further review my nfl 2k5 dont work either..

but i think i figured out why.

i bought a 120gb HDD off of ebay for like what 40 bucks i do believe. it wasnt an official hdd from Microsoft. i never tried to play my old games on this hdd before. i just made the switch to it a few months back. traded my 60 hdd in while they were offering an extra 30 bucks trade in on it.

transferred all my stuff onto this new 120 hdd, never had issues with 360 games etc. but from what i figured out from googling my issue, it has to do with this hdd missing partition 2. which is where the bcc stuff is i guess. im gonna take a look at my hdd in a few and see if it indeed is missing that section..

grrrrrrrrrrr this happen to anybody else? did ya fix it somehow?

if not, i guess my slim 360 in the bedroom will be for nfl 2k5 etc from now on lol.

edit - there is a fix for it, and i know a guy that can do it. whew!! lol.. dang ebay people sticking it to me!!

Still bummed that Def Jam: Fight for NY was never made backwards compatible.

Got mine in 08. The Pro I believe. It KNOWS my disk is NFL 2K5 but won't play it. *shrugs shoulders*

Same issue with buying hdd on eBay. How did you fix it?

im not sure how the guy i know is fixing it. i gave it to him on friday and hope to have it today or tomorrow.

i do believe he said something along the lines of part of that partition is missing. something about backing up my drive, then flashing my hdd with all the correct files, then adding my saves back.

how he does it, no clue. even if i did know, pretty sure we cant talk about it here bc of the TOS..
