360 or PS3 wireless adapter "N" capable ?

I have the 360 wireless adapter. And whatever one is built in the PS3. Any of these "N" capable ?? The xbox one says a, b and g but I don't think N was available then.

I don't think so Heel. I think "N" was developed after the 360 wireless adapter went out, but I'd think that Sony would have updated firmware with "N" compatibility since it's a part of the system itself.

thanks. That is what I figured but wasn't sure. Guess I will have to get an access point that is "N" rated if I want improved speeds on XBL.

I think that N is backwards compatible with G, so a device that runs on G will work with an N signal but it wont necessarily give you better performance than a standard G.

If your ISP does not supply speeds > 54Mbps you will see no real benefit from N.

getting better speeds with the Airport Extreme N. I know it's probably due to the better range. PS3 hooked right up with no problems. The 360 is a different story. Going to have to change some settings to get it to work.
