Connecting online to PS3

Anyway I can connect to my PS3 via a Mac?

not sure what you mean exactly. I have a mac and ps3 that I connect wirelessly.

If you want your Mac and PS3 online at the same time you'll need a router.

That's the problem. Sorry, I wasn't specific enough. Any specific kind of router, and how much do they usually cost?

Any of the major brands should work fine, they cost around $40 - $50.

I have NetGear wgr614 that cost $45 at best buy. Just make sure to get a "G" rated router no matter what brand you buy.

Also, do you have an external modem? I believe you need an external for it to work with the router. I have an iMac and PS3 and I bought this cool program (cost $20) called Medialink: http://www.nullriver.com/index/products/medialink

You can stream movies, pictures and music to your ps3 from your mac. Works great and even shows the album covers etc.
