Yeah, they extended it through the year 2012. So if they developed a console and released it in 2010 then they'd have two years of the exclusive license to use Madden to push sales of their console.

If this happens wont it be a monopoly? Because you will not have a choice any more . Like if you want to buy sports games you have to have there console.

No.

At the same time it will never happen. No professional league will commit to one console, let alone a new console.
