Oh Crap! Same here. I've had my PS3 for about 2 weeks. Haven't even played it much, but as of last night, it's not reading any discs. I hope this is not an epidemic ala the RROD. I gave up on my 360 after two crap-outs. If this happens with the PS3, I think I may retire from gaming... ahhh, who am I kidding. But I will definitely hold off for a while until these companies get these things under control.

I hear what your saying, but I have no issues with my PS3, I upgraded the HD and my system runs like a champ, also every 3 weeks, I clan my Ps3 out with my PC vacuum. I take care of my things, that all you need to do, I'm saying these systems don't break, but your saying you hearing about this PS3 breakdown all over the net, don't believe everything you read.
