Well I was playing GTA4 and the game lost all sound and no buttons did anything. I took the game out, restarted the system and now the PS3 will not read any discs of any kind. I looked it up and it seems to be a fairly common problem. I about to call Sony so they can send me a coffin

Which model PS3 did you have?

I've got the 40g, I dont really know the cause, on the Playstation forum there is a huge thread about this problem. The people there are saying the BR drives die or can be killed by putting games in the wrong way or something

Well there are like 10^3 "My Xbox is broke" or "I'm selling my Xbox" so the precedent has been set. It is a consoles forum after all.
