Then why doesnt PS3 support 1080i or p for sports games? Not even there baseball game has 1080i/p. So its not just EA. Other than this I do love my PS3

If you have the coin and are not going to get a lot for the 360, just keep both. That's what I've done.

its been optimized for 720p though says right on the title screen. just cause u can select 1080i on ur tv or ps3 doesnt mean the game was built for it. Once games are specifically built for 1080p then u start to see the differences

Re: Sell 360, buy PS3? Worth it?

First off, he said Sony didnt support sports games in 1080i or 1080p and thats not the case, he didnt say they werent optomized for it and if he had then he would have been correct. He even goes as far as to say that their baseball game doesnt even have 1080i/p and again, thats not the case either, it supports it just fine. Secondly, taking a zoomed in, still shot from a movie to show the difference is great and it shows it, but that wont happen in a video game with constantly moving objects unless someone is really going to pause the game and start doing the same thing with their game that you did with that movie.

Re: Sell 360, buy PS3? Worth it?

I bought a 360, then bought a ps3...got rid of my 360 because of ps3 and ended up buying a 360 again and play it a ton more than the ps3.

If I had to get rid of one system again it would be the ps3.

For me, the games are much better on 360 than ps3, but the hardware is nicer on ps3.

I'd keep the 360 if you can. Just my .02

Well my TV supports 1080i and 540p whatever the hell setting that is so I only have 1080i and maybe 420 checked, so I can only speak to what I have checked off. The problem is when a game isnt made in 1080i for me because the PS3 doesnt have an inernal scaler like the 360 has so unlike the 360 that would upconvert to 1080i, the PS3 goes down to my strange 540 setting. Maybe Im not as much of a videophile like some are so I dont see a huge difference on a lot of games.
