Anyone here having problems with their PS3?

I'm on my second ps3 and my 5th or 6th 360... I've honestly lost count. Each 360 went the way of the RROD and my first ps3 had its blu ray drive crap out on me. Though to the ps3's credit, the blu ray drive problem is pretty rare from what I here.

Nope,only thing close to a problem I had was trying to get the screws off the HD case to upgrade it but that's not much of a problem and hardly Sonys fault.

I got the 60gb on release date and have never had an issue, ever.

Original 60 GB that I got a week after the release date and I've never had a problem. It is on all the time and has traveled with my family and me multiple times.

There was one time when I started up my PS3 and it said it had to rebuild a database or something. But it was automatic, and the next time it started up I hadn't lost anything. I still don't know what that was about, but I haven't seen any other problems before or since that happened (and it's been several months now)

I rarely turn off my PS3 (I fold a lot), so it's great that I haven't had any real problems.

I've never had a problem with my 60 GB. My brother had his blue-ray drive fail on his 80 GB.

My blu ray drive on the 40gig died twice now. Once before warranty and the second after 1yr warranty. Pretty ticked off right now, but I think my case is rare...
