There may be cheaper ones out there, that was just my first result and I figured it'd be 100+. Check monoprice too, they're usually decent.

50Ft 3-RCA Component Video Cable (RG-59/u), $11.76:

PREMIUM 50FT 3-RCA Component Video Coaxial RG-6 18AWG 75Ohm CL2 Rated Cable, $32.17:

The first should be fine if you aren't going to be unplugged and plugged in often. If you are, you might want to go with the latter option.

Thanks bruin, I don't mind paying little higher for a quality cable.

I could be missing someting here... but if your Ps3 is another room won't that create a problem for wireless controllers? (assuming the PS3 has wireless controllers).

The wirless runs fine for a good LONGGGG ways. I have tested it and it works fine in any room in the house. So close to 100ft stretchs and it works fine.

That's good to hear. I would have hated to hear you put in all that work. Sounds like a great set up. are the rooms on the same floor or are we talking two levels (i have tv's on different floors that I might be interested in doing if possible).

36 bucks, normally 50. Not bad for you...might not be the exact cable you need, but I was thinking that type of cable would be damn expensive lol.
Just ordered these. $45 total with shipping.

I am going to be hooked up now

Same floor. The distance is pretty far, but the PS3 has great long range wireless. I think it is something closer to the bluetooth tech. It is not the old IR, so no direct line of sight is needed.

Also about the upstairs you were talking about. I have read on other boards guys going this same kind of setup and the wirless works fine even up stairs. I think sony says the range is 70ft.

I have read stories of someone forgetting the wirless controller in the car and going run to the store, hit the middle PS button and all the controller did was blink. Then he called the house and the PS3 was on. Could that be a stretch, sure. My point is you should be fine if you test it out first.

Take your controller, turn on some music with the PS3
Go to the other room with the TV you want to route to.
Try changeing the tracks so you can hear that the controller is working. (If someone else is home it is much easier to test).
