You're right, it does just recharge with a USB doesn't it. I must have been thinking of my old keypad that I had to charge from a wall outlet.

I bought the keypad yesterday and after some use, I am not feeling this keypad. It just doesn't feel as comfy as I had hoped. So I found a Logitech wireless Keyboard EX100 for $15 on sale at Target today. I think I am going with that.

I found the keys too close to each other and were not as high as the MS Chatpad. Then having to shift your hands to the top of the controller to type the keys. I know I am being too negative here, but I wonder who designed this darn thing and then approved it. LOL!

I just use a regular usb keyboard. Works great.

ok, but if you do, you may have to get one of those ps/2 to usb adapter things.

Actually, the wireless keybd with USB dongle works great.
