Hmmm I believe you have to call Sony and it will run ya $150 to get it fixed. Take some weeks to get it back too.

Re: So My good old PS3 Died...

Same thing just happened to me like 20 minutes ago, man. Just finished up a 4-3 win over the Nationals in MLB 09 The Show and was looking over the league leaderboards, and then the whole damn thing shut off. I thought maybe the power went out, so I try to restart it and all that, and all I'm getting is this stupid yellow light.

This stuff is bullsh*t, man. How do expensive machines like this just break, for absolutely no reason? Unbelievable... still not sure what to do about it...

Re: So My good old PS3 Died...

I became a member of the PS3 casualty club last week. The coffin arrived today in fact.

I'm quite good at boxing up consoles and sending them away as I did it three times with my XBOX 360's.

Thought my PS3 would be good forever.

I'm sure my Wii will break very soon. Maybe I should order the coffin now just to have it ready asnd expedite the process a bit....what d'ya think?

No he's in Canada it's $170 + tax and shipping too I believe. I reported them to the BBB myself but then again every single Sony thing broke on me just after 2 years and not once did they ever give a crap. Of course they didn't even bother to reply to that BBB complaint so that just shows you what $ony thinks of their customers.

Sony must just hate you. I have never had a problem with any Sony product I've owned. My friend had issues with his original Playstation after a lot of usage, but other than that, I've found "$ony" products to be very reliable.

Re: So My good old PS3 Died...

Well Called them and like someone mentioned since im in Canada im looking at a $190.78 repair price tag, They said they'd send an email to me for payment options, dont have an email that was literally 8 hours ago... Sony products for the most part as usually very solid, but their customer service is terrible...
Now I have to go back to MVP 05 for my baseball fix, its not easy to do after playing 09 the show...
