i'm trying old ps2 games on my ps3 and the whole tv screen is not being used for viewing the game.

There is a black gap on both sides of the picture....anyone know how to fix this so when I play ps2 games on the ps3, the whole tv screen is being utilized ?

I believe you press the PS button while playing a PS2 game and then there's some option for turning full screen on/off.
