Hulu plans to charge, expand to devices: sources

It was not clear if that service would be offered before Hulu is available on devices. What programs do they think they will charge for? Do they think they can charge for network tv shows? If they charge me to watch last weeks episode of The Office for example, I'm just going to watch it on NBC's website for free.

For this to merit me paying for it, they are going to have to include worthwhile programming. I have the programming I want on TV and can DVR it. The concept of HULU streaming over the 360 is nice, but that's a novelty.

I'm at the point to where I can dismiss cable or DTV if a service like HULU can meet my viewing needs. If they go the way of so/so movies like Netflix, this won't be worth it for me.

Hulu needs to start streaming shows in HD as well.
