The wireless N would be nice, but that much hdd space isn't really needed.

The extra HDD space isn't for the user, as we could obviously swap it out with our own HDD of choice. It's an excuse for them to raise the cost on the PS3.

As for the system itself, I would gladly take the 500GB if I didn't already have the space available. Since I shoot and upload HD videos all of the time, the space is completely necessary and worth it.

I agree, its a way for both MS and Sony to keep these systems around the $299+ price points. It's like they are using smoke and mirrors.

I am really excited for Sony's press conference.....

-there seems to be 2 new PS3's coming out
- maybe a PSP2?
- a new XMB? new PSN?
- Killzone 3 and other sony IP's

a lot of questions will be answered tomorow.

I'm pumped for this conference, seriously. Microsoft definitely showed off some cool new hardware, which is great, but I'm ready to see some GAMES (and a new XMB, lol).

I think the bring down the house announcement tomorrow will be ME coming to Sony. Knowing EA I just don't see them keeping it exclusive forever.
