Gamestop 360 trade in offer starts tomorrow

Any idea how long this promo goes on?

I want to do it, but don't want to drive an hour to trade it in, then drive the hour again to pick up the new xbox in a few days. Would like to do it all at once.

Gamestop has the promotion lasting until 7/11 according to their site. Anyone know if they would let you transfer your files at the store via the transfer cable?

I did this with my first 360, it would work half an hour or so then RROD, so I traded it in and it survived their tests.

This isn't a bad deal to get the newer, smaller, quieter 360, hmm...

I would get $255 in trade value with this deal. If we could use the Edge Card then I would get $280. Something to think about.

I'm gonna pass on selling my ol' 20 GB system on ebay... I've never traded a console at GS before... Is the original box or packaging required?

Not in my previous experiences. Just take the Console and the power brick and a video cable.
