What type of display do you guys play your games on (Monitor) or (HDTV)

Now why would they go and remove local dimming if it works better? Is there a new tech they are using instead?

There was a huge lawsuit that was put on Samsung last year by Sharp. They accused Samsung of stealing their LCD ideas and therefor the B8500 LD set was removed from inventory. Mine cost me at that time $1800 but now since they are discontinued, companies or stores that have them are asking for an arm and a a leg. I regret not spending the extra $500 for the 55 inch. Now the 55 inch cost about 3k or more

Samsung lost the lawsuit and decided to just make Edge lit which are paper thin even though my Locald Dimming set is very thin to

Is cheaper to make edge lit and it sells like hot cakes. Rumors are that they might go back to LD in 2011

Input lag is terrible on this tv though. When I use game mode is much better though

But I am going to get a samsung led monitor 23 inches to play FPS online and the show due to timing which would suck on sets with input lag
