As the title says, I can't get my mic to work on my PS3.

I have a Plantronics 626 USB Headset and when I plug it into my PS3, It shows the headset as the input device, but it will not read the microphone.

I bought the headset for my PC (which it works great on), and I want to use it on my PS3, as I don't have a Bluetooth Headset.

I have tried unplugging/plugging in the headset, and I did a factory setting reset. No help either way.

So, I come here to ask my fellow gamers: What can I do to make this work?

When you test it at test screen, does the bars go up?

Not with a a wired headset. I borrowed a BT headset and it worked like a charm. Plugged the wired back in and nothing.

you have to change the output settings too.

Output wouldn't affect the microphone not picking up any sound.

I don't think all usb microphones work as I remember seeing a list of incompatible microphones somewhere.

After a quick google search, I believe the Plantronics 626 does not work with the PS3 as others have reported to being able to hear others, but not being able to speak.
