PS3 BluRay Driver question

Recently, my PS3 BluRay driver gave out so I bought on a new one on a website. I own the fat 60GB PS3 that is backwards compatible with PS1 and PS2 games

My question: When I install the new driver, will I be able to play my PS1 and PS2 games still?

Re: PS3 BluRay Driver question

Assuming you mean Blu-Ray Drive and not driver?

There is hardware on the motherboard enabling backward compatibility, the Blu-Ray drive should not change that capability.

Re: PS3 BluRay Driver question

I accidently ordered the 410 model, and the one inside my system is a 400. Is there anyway to hook up the 410 model into the PS3?
