Now with the architect being so similar with Xbox One and PS4, will games be developed for both systems, or will they still be developed for one and then ported to the other?

Even if one is a port, would you really be able to tell with both consoles being nearly identical?

I'm getting both consoles so it really doesn't matter to me I guess. Whatever system games play and look better on will be my main console.

I guess it matters enough for you to ask this twice, but there's really no way to answer this right now. It's new hardware, probably just made on PCs/rough-representative devkits and ported to final hardware.

The fact that both consoles went with x86 processor will make porting much more simple across all 3 platforms.

Biggest difference between the hardware is PS4 has different RAM and a GPU with more raw power. Like mentioned, how this will impact games on both is yet to be seen.

The rumor during E3 was that the games were going to be made on the PS4 and ported to the One, but obviously that was just a rumor and there's been no real confirmation for or against it.
