The guy is an exceptional player, but they decided he didn't fit at SS a few years ago because of range/arm concerns. I'd say the same would probably be true at 3rd.

You're basing your entire opinion off of what exactly? He hasn't played a single minor or major league game at 3rd.
To answer your initial question, they wouldnt shift him off of 2B (a position that is normally reserved for light hitters) to 3B. You want to generally maintain as much positional value as possible.

His arm is more than strong enough to make throws from 3B and SS. He is best suited for 2B, but to pretend that he couldnt play SS/3B is silly

The baseball fans hate this stuff, but they know we're going to buy it and play anyway, so they don't have to worry about us.

My rating used to hover between 1770-1850. I now quit vs people with lag and general arseholes to keep my rating around 1675-1750, because starting from 1725, 4 out of 5 games you play you're playing someone that doesn't know jack about the sport and sure as heck doesn't appreciate it enough to play the right way.

1725+ is generally a gamer sh*t show.
Speed isnt really overpowered in my opinion.

Bunting is damn near impossible now since everyone cried about it so much. (I cant even Sac bunt with Billy Hamilton without missing on at least one pitch).

Managing a bullpen would be pretty interesting though.

Over half the top 50 wouldn't be there if they didn't have a fresh pen every game. When my rating goes above 1725, I never see a SP go past 5 anymore. The average is probably less than 5 innings at that level. It's a joke.

I'll go 7 innings with a bronze on 80 pitches, the other guy will use 100 pitches to get through 4.2. Then it's an onslaught of new RPs throwing 100 mph every inning, Neshek, or some other dude with a super slow pitch. Then I get messages after the game about how they got more hits than me, even if they lost, meanwhile they walked me 4 times and I didn't walk them at all.

Most players don't have a clue.

I more agree with this than not. I get people not having an issue with playing a 2B at 3B because in theory it's similar, but it removes the reason to actually have to work on all positions. I've seen guys like Nelson Cruz at catcher and it really seems to mean little to nothing.

Bunting did need to be tuned. It's just not hard to do and online it was just too effective when accounting for the slowness infielders react online in those situations. Once the word is out about an "exploit" then you sort of have to completely nerf it to remove the idea (unfortunately).

Also stealing is still super easy online. You get picked off here and there now but it's still just not hard to do.

Yep.

Post game messages are a classic.

And the teams with all legends, or all players in the 90's are just ridiculous.

I like playing good teams, but an entire team of legends is lame.

Nobody should play with Ted Williams, Jeff Bagwell, Mike Schmidt, Nolan Ryan, Ernie Banks, etc...all on the same team.

Personally, I completely stopped playing online. I think extra innings is just as good, if not better since you do not have to deal with morons.

The only downside is that I am convinced that the CPU has a comeback code. I can never hold leads....

(I say that knowing that there is not such a thing. I win about half my games, and hold a lot of leads...It is just super frustrating to blow a lead, which I did twice tonight).

You actually make a good point on that first part.

Everyone should be required to build depth at every position.

I just think it would be kinda lame to limit players to 1 spot. I have Zobrist, Josh Harrison, and Lorenzo Cain on my team. I move them around constantly.

Bunting is annoying now because I cant even Sac Bunt with pitchers. It just doesnt work at all.

It should be 100% successful and easy....but it shouldnt be impossible either

After getting rid of Yadier Molina...just made Corey Dickerson my everyday Catcher...no point in having a defensive minded catcher when they're still going to steal it 9 out of 10 times....
