Just found a way to control the running game...

We all know how overpowered the running game is in the show right? most great runners making it to the base a 95% of the time or so...

Here's what you need to control the running game...

Your Franchise player + maxed out fielding rating.

So what do you do when an obvious base stealer gets in base?

You quickly switch your franchise player for the Catcher...the opponent won't notice you just have switched to a guy better than Johnny Bench behind the plate...

Side delivery to give you a better chance and throw an accurate cannon to the base...

Pretty sure most people on here play there DD guy at catcher normally.

Yea, but where else are you going to get that arm? also, there are not many catchers that have good hitting stats. You can find better players at every other position.

How so? Catcher is the worst spot on this game as far as other players. I always have my guy at C and throw out Hamiltons all the time
Where exactly are you missing speed at by playing your guy at C

The Joy of seeing my player showing ridiculous range in SS and CF...

It feels like no other player in the game defensively.

SS I can see but CF not really I've never had a range problem not matter who I put in CF and the pros of having my guy at C outweigh the one or two plays every few games he may make at SS over banks or tulo

That makes sense. I just don't have the luxury of having a Tulo yet lol
