Re: Is this a risky move?

The move is done. I figured I needed to strike while the iron was hot. The next sell now was something like 75k. Sold Schmidt for 101,000 and I just went and hit buy now on everyone I needed (including Hamels and lee who was 45k) and I turned a 40k+ profit and Schmidt is back in the lineup no harm no foul. I didn't wanna wait for someone else to claim that 101k for Schmidt bc of how astronomical that is for him. Now what to do with 40k lol. Yeah I could have waited to buy lee and Hamels this weekend banking on another market crash but whatever I'm happy with a 40k turn around.

I just checked my Braves set. It said I couldn't sell my Almonte and Buck so they must have been needed and locked when I completed the set. Glad I got them early.

Can't beat that. Walked away with 2 more gold pitchers and 40k plus get to keep Schmidt. Win win win.

Undecided if I'll use either Hamels or lee. Maybe at some point since I can't sell them but I only like having 1 lefty in my rotation and that's price and he's been solid for me.

I don't use any lefties anymore. Tired of people backing out or taking 5 minutes to fine tune their lineup.

My thoughts exactly.

Well after making that 40k for free and selling off underperforming star players that are not needed for the legend I sit on around 70k. Here's to hoping the market crashes this weekend. If not I can still make some decent moves.

Congrats! I had the exact same situation, as I pulled Schmidt in the packs I got for the 10th anniversary edition. Someone was offering 110,000 for Schmidt when I jumped on it. I still ended up with about the same profit as you, because at that time Hamels was going for a lot more, and Utley was still a gold. It did give me more leeway with stubs and allowed me to start playing the market and also to get some other needed players.
