Posey or Molina

I have Bench great against Lefties, Lacroy, Perez but I am thinking I want Posey or Molina. I will buy then outiright. If I like them I will keep them or sell them. Thoughts

Posey if you want a hitter.

Molina if you want defense and want to shut down stealing bases.

I highly recommend just putting your created player at catcher so you can have:

99 blocking
99 throwing
99 reaction/speed to snag pop ups, home plate choppers, and counter bunters

All in addition to having a 99 rated hitter.

Berra vs RHP/Posey vs LHP.

Berra best overall if not platooning.

Berra is the only elite lefty catcher. 99Pvis with nice batting stance and plus defense.

Berra, to me at least, is a better hitter than Tulo against RHP since Tulo's stats went down so I have my CC play SS vs RHP/C vs LHP.

My catcher makes alot of errors as a catcher. Dropping pop flys, passed balls, over throwing bases.

This happened to me too. What you have to do is take your player off your team. Then go to him and hit Add to Team, then make sure when you do that you have him replace a catcher on your team. My guy went from little leaguer to a god behind the plate

I replaced my SS with my created player and still felt he was still fielding sloppy even though it showed 99 at SS and all his fielding stats were 90+
