Did i just get lag switched? not sure how to tell

I just beat a dream team of nothing but legends and 90 and above gold players. I won 6-0 and he only had 1 hit. Every time I hit it was impossible to run the bases. It would freeze every time and later people would be out or safe. All i could do was hit the ball and just wait. I held down L1 every hit for all to advance. Sometimes when he was pitching it would also freeze and the pitch would just cross the plate without me seeing it. It did not lag for me in fielding though.

Unlike most here I have yet to see a lag switcher asking here if I ran into one.

Nope, you just had a bad connection with a high ping. I suspect the game is built that when you hit, you are the host and when you run the opponent is the host. This is why there is zero lag when you hit, but when you do have a base hit the game switches over to the other player.

Okay thanks just wanted to know what happened. I did not want to report him using the in game system if he did nothing wrong.
