I've always faced the top tier Ace pitcher whenever I attacked a stronghold. Nats? Scherzer. Pirates? Cole. Cubs? Arrieta. Cards? Wainwright. Jays? Stroman.

Is this by design or is their pitcher just as random as your own?

Definitely random because I didn't face Arrieta or MadBum when I took the Cubs and Giants stronghold.

Just took over the Rays and went against Chris Archer, I just must have the worst luck ever. Going for Marlins next, let's hope I don't face Jose!
