How to play Extra Inning 101 (Fix until patch)

Thanks to this forum and shownation, I was finally able to play a 9 inning Extra Inning game that counted, and wasn't queued. After being unsuccessful 5 times.
So I thought I'd gather all the information in 1 post.

What is Extra Inning?:

Extra Innings is a game mode in Diamond Dynasty that allows you to play other user created feams offline.
Last year it had it's own menu, this year they chose to bury it in the menus.

How to play Extra Inning:

The only way to play Extra Inning this year is to do it from the Records menu.
In Diamond Dynasty, go to "Records", then "Standings" and click on any team.
You will see the option "Play Extra Inning game".
For more teams, simply use L1/R1 to scroll the list.
As of yet, there is no search feature (maybe patched later?)

How to make sure your Extra Inning game is 9 Innings and COUNTS (not queued):

The best thing to do as some have suggested is simply back out of Diamond Dynasty, to the main MLB menu.
Then go back in Diamond Dynasty.
This ensures that your game will have 9 innings (instead of 3) and the stats will count. Also, you will get a post game reward.
Otherwise if you don't, your game will probably have 3 innings and NOT count (get queued indefinitely) and you will get NO reward.

Quick way to make sure your game is working/will count:

When in an Extra Inning Game, in the 1st inning, simply press RT to check your pitcher's pitches/stamina.
Your starting pitcher's stamina should be FULL.
Anything less means you're stuck in a 3 inning game, and your game might not count.
If that happens, simply quit the game. Chances are it won't count anyway.

Notes:

- Difficulty is broken. Playing on Legend, HOF, AS, VET, will default to rookie, along with the post-game rewards will fall into rookie categorie.
On the plus side, I've seen many get silvers & even golds after a game. In my game (played on Legend to test) I got a silver AND a bronze. Go figure.

- I checked to see if the Missions & stats were being tallied. They were. To me this is a good break from playing Conquest and more engaging mode to play overall. Just make sure you back out to the main menu before playing ;-)

I never had a problem playing games, but I can't say it's much fun beating the CPU by 10+ runs every game. Until you can play on HOF this mode is dead to me

agreed, I like it for 2 reasons: Grinding missions and beating friend's teams (when I can find them). No doubt they will patch the difficulty, sooner rather than later.

Does this count towards the Innings played mission from conquest mode? Meaning, will I get credit for innings played while starting a extra inning game? Please tell me yes lol.
