Anybody have Jose Altuve?

I like the look of his stats a lot but I'm a bit concerned about his lack of power. I remember people saying lack of power was a problem because high and inside lead to pop-ups and not home runs. Is that still a thing or have updates fixed that? Does using a "contact" swing help with getting high and inside pitches on the ground instead of having them pop up? I'd like to be able to make Altuve work. Any thoughts?
