Well, i took your advice. Switched to pci, used square for my swings and hit two my last game.

Here is what I do I let the batter I am using determine if I power swing if it's a power hitter meaning 30 homer power then power swing if the guys homers are in the teens regular swing. I also determine how I swing based on who the pitcher is if it's a power guy like syndergard then power swing if it's a control movement pitcher I am a lot more picky on power swings

make sure u pick HR ballparks too. dont pick stadiums where HRs go to die. obviously u may not get ur park but prepare as if you'll get it

I feel like it's actually easier to hit HR's than singles/doubles/triples in MLB 17...

i power swing until i have 2 strikes unless its a pure HR situation
