Because he's been at it for over 30 years and has been right more often than not. If you went by solely when he's talked about on social media, you'd think the guy is worse than Brad Shepherd whose only got one major story right ever (XFL coming back). Yea he's not right all the time but nobody in this business is. Especially where plans are changing hourly.

If people read something they want to be true they’ll believe it. I could start a dirt site and if I reported that sources close to the situation said Reigns had a heated argument with Vince over scripted promos and he wants his release, someone would post it on here.

I mean when he gets his information from guys like Jericho, Ric Flair, Heyman, Bret (during the Screwjob period), Orton, Cornette, Rock, Austin, pretty much all the top guys at that time except for the Kliq. So yea I tend to believe he's been more right then wrong over the last 40 years or so. But they've since left outside of Paul (Ric got pissed at him and doesn't give him anything and more) and Randy all left the company. And he didn't cultivate a new source pool, so he's fallen back to being more like the average reporter. And they usually hit on around half the stories they post.

And when it comes to AEW he has a noted great relationship with the Bucks and Kenny, plus as I mentioned earlier Jericho talked to him when he was in WWE/WCW.

Because he feeds into the Smarks underlying desire to be unhappy with the product. Metlzer is 100% a trash journalist. Doesn’t matter if he got a sorry right from time to time. He is garbage. He’s a sensationalist, no better than the frauds at newspaper tabloids.
