I like the milestone trackers. I might steal this idea and use it for the major milestones in my dynasty.

Manny already hit the 400 HR mark in mine though.

Owner to Check Out Young Guns in AAA

Today, Seattle Mariner's owner, Charlie Brown, stated that he will be attending their AAA farm team's next three home games to scout future prospects to play in the majors.

He is interested is heavily influenced by the young pitching of Felix Hernandez, Clint Nageotte, and the pitcher of the month - Travis Blackley; all of whom are scheduled to start during Brown's visits.

Most teams send scouts to watch the minor league games, but Brown wanted to see how good these players were with his own eyes.

Others mentioned to be checked out are relief pitcher, Rafael Soriano; second baseman, Ramon Santiago; third baseman, Mike Morse; and outfielders, Jamal Strong and Shin-Soo Choo.

If these players do impress the owner, they may see time in an M's uniform.

However, this means that some M's may be called down.

Of those, second baseman, Jose Lopez; shortstop, Pokey Reese; and pitchers, Bobby Madritsch and Julio Mateo are the most likely to be playing Triple-A ball.

*This means that I'll be playing the next 3 AAA games. Should be fun, considering I've never played AAA ball on MVP yet.

M's Strike Early, A's Too Late in Comeback Attempt...

Seattle scored the game's first three runs, and that was enough to earn the victory as the M's won it to the tune of 3-2.

Oakland tried to mount a comeback in the 7th and 8th innings, scoring 2 runs via solo homers, but it was too little, too late as Eddie Guardado came up big with his 12th save of the season.

Guardado has been consistent throughout the entire season, allowing 0 runs so far in 12.1 innings.

Gil Meche had a solid outing, going 7 innings, throwing 5 Ks, and allowing 1 ER on 5 hits. However, he had a bit of a scare in his quest for a win, as Shigetoshi Hasegawa came in relief, allowing a homerun and 2 hits.

Ichiro hit his first homerun of the season - his only hit in 4 four at bats. Adrian Beltre went 0 of 4 with three strikeouts.
