Re: Jamaica's Road to the World Cup

It's on Professional and WC is impossible.

First goal was a through ball that actually got past the France back-line and placed beautifully in the bottom corner

Second goal was a lucky header off a corner kick.

Re: Jamaica's Road to the World Cup

I just finished going down 2-1 in a friendly against them as USA. It is near impossible to tackle the ball away from Henry or their midfielder. Mine was a lucky header as well. I haven't tried WC, hopefully Pro doesn't get too easy for me.

Yeah...Zidane and Henry are impossible to get the ball away from, and it's impossible to get by Viera(at least it was for me)

I play the USA next...should have that game done tonight...so it'll be interesting.

I think that USA game will tell you a lot whether it is too easy or not, good luck.
I just got beat 3-0 by Jamaica in the 2nd stage of qualifying.

United States

Vs.

Jamaica

Jamaica can't hold on, draws America 2-2

The Jamaican's struck in the opening minute against the United States, on a goal by striker Ralph(1-0), but weren't able to hold off the American's for long, as McBride launched a beauty into the upper right corner(1-1)of the net to tie it up in the 7th. Only two minutes later, US defender Berhalter hit a rebound off the crossbar into the back of the net(2-1). There was only one problem...he put it into his own net to give Jamaica the 2-1 lead. However, just like their friendly match with France, the Jamaican's blew the lead late, allowing Twellman a goal(2-2)in the 80th minute that tied the game at 2 apiece, a score that would hold until the final whistle.

Final Score: 2-2, Draw

United Stats:

Goals-
McBride - 7th minute
Twellman - 80th minute

Stats-

Re: Jamaica's Road to the World Cup

Panama

Vs.

Jamaica

Captain Leads offensive Outburst

After back-to-back draws with France and the United States, in which Jamaica blew their lead in the 80th minute or later, the Jamaican squad was out looking to make sure Panama couldn't come back late in the game. The first half was boring and uneventful, but the fireworks started going off in the second half. First, star striker and captain King, scored off a beautiful through-ball from Ralph, to put Jamaica up 1-0. Ralph followed that up with a goal of his own in the 72nd minute, knocking in his own rebound with a beautiful diving header for the 2-0 lead. Not to be outdone, captain King scored three minutes later to put Jamaica up 3-0. Now, following their recent trend, the defenders fell asleep and allowed Panama on the board in the 86th minute off a beautiful shot by striker Dely-Valdes. However, King wanted to try and emphasize the fact that Jamaica might be here to stay in the qualifying stages, adding a goal in the 92nd minute for the hat-trick and the 4-1 victory
.

Final Score: 4-1, Jamaica

Panama:

Goals-
Dely-Valdes - 85th minute

Stats-
Shots: 8
On Target: 5
Tackles: 24
Passing %: 84
Possession %: 50

Jamaica:

Goals-
King - 60th minute
Ralph - 72nd minute
King - 75th minute
King - 92nd minute

Stats-
Shots: 16
On Target: 10
Tackles: 31
Passing %: 69
Possession %: 50
