Re: Atlanta Braves (MLB 2K7)

Chuck James, Jerome Williams Pitch Incredible
James gave up 3 hits, Williams only 2

Chucky had the stuff but his offense sputtered
Nationals 1, Braves 0 F - 10
  • Williams perfect through 6.1
  • Braves get 2 hits, Nats get 4
  • Squeeze play in the 10th is the difference
  • Braves offense totally out of sync
  • Braves go 1-1 in this days doubleheader
  • Now we head home for a 2-game set against the Cubs

Re: Atlanta Braves (MLB 2K7)

Wickman Almost Blows Another Save, Squeaks By
Braves win a late innings scare

Are Bob Wickman's days as the Braves closer coming to an end?
Braves 6, Cubs 5
  • Hampton pitched 7 innings giving up 1 run before handing the game to the pen
  • Braves get 12 hits, Cubs get 11
  • Cubs score 2 in the 8th on a Soriano HR off of Soriano, score 2 more in the 9th on a double by Matt Murton
  • Last pitch by Wickman was hung, but Blanco flew out to left field
  • Soriano is probably the most feared hitter on this game to me, he hits everything hard to the outfield
  • McCann belted a 2 run HR
WP: Mike Hampton (1-1) - 7 IP, 6 H, ER, BB
-Rafael Soriano - IP, 2 H, 2 ER, K
-Bob Wickman - IP, 3 H, ER
LP: Wade Miller (1-2) - 6.1 IP, 11 H, 5 ER, 2 K
