Los Angeles' leading scorer was Bryant with 24.
The Lakers started the game off with an 8 nothing run. Coffey finally hit a fade-away to put OS on the board. There wasn't much else happening for OS in the first quarter. At the end of the first quarter the score was 26-8, L.A. could not be stopped. In the second quarter Slater and Rasan did their job inside, on offense and defense. At the half the Lakers lead was only 12, 34-46. The third quarter was Shaq and Kobe's quarter. Kobe was hitting just about every shot he took, and Shaq was completely dominating the inside. The Lakers opened the lead up to 54-78 to finish the third quarter. OS had the lead cut to 12 with 2:23 left in the game, but couldnt get any closer.
Next game @ Toronto
