Go there for the latest results and stats!

110-122 loss at New York.

104-97 win at Boston.

Latest story:

Quote:
The Golden State Warriors entered the game against the Boston Celtics on a three game losing streak and without Stephen Jackson (Twisted Ankle).

Fortunately the streak would end at that as Monta Ellis and Baron Davis were just too much for Celtics. While Wright (14 points), Bierdrins (16 points), and Webber (13 points) contributed up in the front court. Tonight we saw a new Brandon Wright which was much more aggressive on the offensive end and it paid off. "With Jackson out tonight, we wanted to get the bigger guys more involved in the game and it worked out tonight." - Coach Nelson.

In the second half Nelson put in Matt Barnes to guard Paul Pierce and it paid off as Barnes was able to get two blocks and two steals.

On Saturday (11/23), the Washington Wizards host the Golden State Warriors with a 7:30 start time. Stephen Jackson is not expected to start but might play. Stay tuned!

Game notes:

At one point Monta Ellis scored 11 consecutive points to bring the Warriors to a one point lead in the third quarter.

Matt Barnes had only three points but had two crucial blocks and two steals.

Kevin Garnett was in foul trouble all game long and fouled out with 4:36 left in the game.

Go there for the latest results and stats!

134-133 win @ Washington.

Quote:

The Golden State Warriors (5-5) faced the Washington Wizards (2-8) who looked to get a winning streak going; however, they would have to do so again without Stephen Jackson who was out with a twisted ankle.

This game throughout all four quarters and over time was a shoot out and the action never stopped. Both teams at times went up to lead as much as double digits but those leads were quickly erased with some high paced offense.

In the fourth quarter trailing by one, Matt Barnes (15 PTS) hit a three pointer to put the Warriors up by two. Seconds later Arenas hit a three pointer of his own to put the Wizards back up by two. In return Davis hit a quick two but right back Arenas trained another three to put the Wizards up by two with 42 seconds left! After a quick screen Davis found Biedrins for quick two. With 11 seconds left Butler was forced to put up a questionable shot which missed and looked like a foul but wasn't called. The Warriors recovered and Davis dished it to Barnes who hit the two as time expired but didn't count!

In OT the Wizards had a three point lead which was cut to one by Biedrins with 15 seconds left. Quickly Butler was fouled who went 1/2 at the line and Warriors' ball with 8 seconds left.

After a quick penetration and dish to Biedrins who drew the double and passed the ball to a wide open Monta Ellis who hit a three pointer as time expired to give the Warriors their 6th win of the season.

Tune in tomorrow where the Golden States Warriors (6-5) square off against the Philadelphia 76ers (4-7) at the Wachovia Center. Stephen Jackson will be dressed tomorrow but no word if he will start.

Game notes:

Washington Wizards

Gilbert Arenas - 39 PTS - 24 AST - 6 REB
Nick Young - 40 PTS - 4 AST

Golden State Warriors

Andris Biedrins - 42 PTS - 17 REB
Baron Davis - 20 PTS - 15 AST

Hey his career high in real life was 33 so this wasn't off by much.

Plus he is only averaging a little over 10 points a game. But this game he was just a monster down in the post.

95-92 loss to Phoenix.

87-102 loss to Sacramento.

Story updated:

Quote:
After a terrible melt down on Monday at home against the Suns, the Warriors entered Sacramento strong starting the game with a 14 point lead to close off the first quarter of action. Unfortunately the run would not continue as the Warriors could not find another scoring option except for Davis.

The game was kept close until the final seven minutes of the 4th quarter where the Kings went on a 17-4 run and ended up winning the game 102-87.

Coach Nelson was quoted as: "We can't just stop playing on offense. We just can't. We stop moving around and stand there like light light poles. Something must be done."

Something must be done indeed. Since coming back from injury Jackson has only been averaging 7.7 points per game while shooting below 35%. Feeling in the locker room is Jackson might not start against Houston as Coach Nelson has been upset with this lack of defense and his poor shot selection.

Very disappointing last two game for the Warriors as tomorrow night they will host the Houston Rockets and look to improve their record to 8-7 on the year.

95-93 loss to the Rockets.

Quote:
The Golden State Warriors headed home to face the Houston Rockets and hoped to snap a two game losing streak; but the end result was deja vu of the Phoenix Suns game last week.

The Warriors stated the game with Matt Barnes instead of Stephen Jackson in the starting line up. Barnes played well scoring 11 points and held Tracy McGrady to 21 points on 9/24 shooting. Same can't be said about Stephen Jackson who had another bad outing despite coming off the bench; Jackson went 1/9 and had 6 points.

The game was a see saw battle as there were several lead changes in the game until the fourth quarter where the Rockets took a 9 point lead with 6 minutes left in the quarter.

The Warriors made a strong run to tie with Biedrins and Davis leading the way; unfortunately Aaron Brooks hit a key long two to take the lead. After several attempts to tie the game, the Warriors had one more shot with 14 seconds left. Biedrins got the ball down low and posted up Nick Collison; the double came and Biedrins dished it to a wide open Baron Davis who shot a three that rimed out. After the miss with two seconds left, Biedrins got the rebound and shot a hook shot which rimed out as time expired.

A dissapoiting way to end a dissapointing month for the Warriors (7-8) who look to Decemeber to bring them better luck.

We caught up with the Warriors GM after the game and we asked him if any personal changes will be made.

GM: "At this point we are happy with the roster we have and we think we can win with this roster. However, if a deal comes along that improves our team, we will take a strong look at it."

GSW News: Rumor has Stephen Jackson is not happy and the Warriors are making a move to shop him around. Is this true?

GM: "As I just mentioned, we are happy with our current roster."

GSW News: Thank you for your time.
