Re: Raiders Franchise

Lost a tough game to the Giants 17-7, dropping me to 5-6 with the defending champs eagles up next. I had almost a 50/50 run-pass split for the first time really, but that was because i fell behind 17-0 early and had to pass to keep up(didnt work) until fargas scored a garbage-time TD

Passing
J****ssell 5/21 for 41 yards, INT

Rushing
J.Fargas 23/53, TD

Defense
K.Morrison 13 tackles, 2INT
R.Manning 8 tackles, INT
C.Okeafor tackle, TFL, sack

Giants

Passing
E.Manning 19/36 for 266(or 260,cant read my handwriting) 2TD/3INT

Rushing
A.Bradshaw 17/54

Recieving
P.Burress 8/155, TD

Defense
A.Mullen 3 tackles, INT
A. Pierce 8 tackles, TFL
Z.Bowman 5 tackles

This game really was a blowout and I was lucky to keep the score as close as it was. Things arent looking any better as i have to face of a stacked Philly team, which is tied for 2nd with NYG in the nfc east at 6-5.
Russell is a very, very inconsistent QB. Somedays he will play good(at least, good for the abilites that he has), and mostly he just is a fat lard who is a waste of that huge contract al had to reward him. Fargas is actually a decent RB, but not a good starter. I think ill keep him next year as my 2nd string, and then draft his replacement the following year

Re: Raiders Franchise

I resigned MLB Kirk Morrison to a 6yr/27.44m contract, with a 13m signing bonus
Didnt want to risk him hold out and demand a trade like mcfadden did, so i resigned him rather than potentially make him pissed off by franchising him.
Also, i upgraded my coach skills to get HB intangibles level 4

Against the Eagles, McNabb is injured and out for this game, as is #3 overall pick DE marqueis acho. the kids got great ratings but has only played in 4 games so far this year. BTW caraun lawrence is currently in 2nd for DROTY behind eagles OLB mister wright

I got MURDERED by the eagles, 31-10. No competition whatsoever. kevin kolb lit me up so badly against a scheme that has really worked so far. I wonder what the score would have been with mcnabb in there...

Passing
J****ssell 3/21 for 22 yards, 2INT

Rushing
J.Fargas 19/24, TD

Blocking
J.Griffith allowed a sack

Defense
T.Howard 9 tackles
K.Morrison 7 tackles, INT
T.Williams 7 tackles
D.Burgess 2 tackles, 2 TFL, sack
C.Lawrence 2 tackles, TFL, sack

Eagles

Passing
K.Kolb 29/44 337 yards, 3TD/INT

Rushing
B.Westbrook 16/45, TD

Recieving
B.Westbrook 8/89, TD
D.Jackson 7/85, 2TD

Defense
S.Bradley 6 tackles
C.Gocong 5 tackles, TFL, INT
M.Patterson 3 tackles, 2 TFL, sack
J.Ikegwuonu tackle, INT
M.Wright only had 2 tackles, so hopefully lawrence can overtake him in the droty race as he reached double-digit sacks, something no rookie did last year

The eagles blitzes really killed me. I dont think they rushed 4 dlinemen ONCE, with every play having at least 1 blitzer. Recievers were constantly open, especially when they dialed up a zoneblitz, but russel, who is as dumb as a brick, couldnt find them and would throw the ball away right before he was hit. and the blitzes really clogged up my running lane to. Im sure that if i had a good QB i could have easily burned them on a few plays.
This was really the first time i can say all season that my Defense played badly. I still need a solid passrushing option across from lawrence as burgess seems to rarely apply any pressure at all, and is getting up there in age.

Re: Raiders Franchise

Titans starting HB chris johnson is out w/ an injury

close, close loss to the titans, 15-13, which drops me to 5-8. JaMarcus had his best game by far, which isn't saying much. I have a struggling SD team, which is 6-7, next

Passing
J****ssell 9/18 for 148 yards, TD

Rushing
J.Fargas 19/56
M.Bush 8/34

Recieving
S.McDonals 5/110, TD

Blocking
I.Glenn-1 sack allowed

Defense
R.Manning 7 tackles
T,Howard 5 tackles
D.Hall 5 tackles, INT
K.Morrison 3 tackles, INT
C.Lawrence 3 tackles, TFL, sack

Wow, this was a close game. No INTs for russel in what i believe is the first time of his carreer since i've taken over. I guess im happy, since that it shows that I have the talent to at least remain in the game while i stll am losing, so with 3 high 1st rounders I should be able to compete next year. I am safe no matter what, since I have an owner approval of 80. I should win 1 or 2 more games, and with the Texans 6-7 and the Chiefs also at 5-8 I might have three top15 picks.

Lawrence is steadily racking up sacks, but he dropped to 3rd in the DROTY behind bills CB karl dixon. surprise there, as he was labeled as a bust by shefter during the draft.

Re: Raiders Franchise

Well I'm now 5-9 as I got ran over, literally, by the Chargers. My run D couldnt stop even their 3rd string RB, and DT is definetly an area of concern heading into next year.

Passing
J****ssell 3/20, 14 yards, INT

Rushing
J.Fargas 16/50

Defense
D.Hall 11 tackles, INT
K.Morrison 9 tackles
D.Burgess 3 tackles, 3 TFL, sack
C.Lawrence 3 tackles, TFL, sack

Chargers

Passing
P.Rivers 9/17 for 78 yards, TD/INT

Rushing
B.Abbott 18/83
V.Morency 17/72, TD
L.Tomlinson 14/70

Recieving
A.Gates 5/45, TD

Defense
I.Olshanksky 4 tackles, TFL
F.Bates 4 tackles
Q.Jammer 2 tackles, INT

Not much to say except that I have terrific 2nd and 3rd down run D. The chargers would repeadedly get 7-9 yards on a 1st down run, and then either barely make the conversion or punt the ball after i stuffed them on 2nd and 3rd. When they did pass, they once again used PA passes to their tight end, antonio gates. Well I'm too lazy to actually type out other stuff, kinda looking forward to the offseason, so I'll probably just post the stats for the next 2 games, then season stats/recap, and tonight hopefully the offseason

Re: Raiders Franchise

So I took the "radical" turn of benching russell and starting Beck at QB, and this was my most decisive win of the year, 26-13. I am 6-9, with a season ending game against washington next week.

Passing
J.Beck 10/17, 106 yards, TD

Rushing
J.Fargas 15/84
T.Bell 12/50
X.Omon 13/36, TD

Recieving
S.McDonald 3/30, TD

Blocking
N.Cole allowed a sack

Defense
T.Howard 4 tackles, INT
G.Wilson 4 tackles
T.Kelly 3 tackles, TFL, sack

Bengals

Passing
C.Palmer 14/21 for 216 yards, 2TD/INT

Rushing
K.Faulk 10/31

Recieving
C. Ocho Cinco(LOL) 5/95, TD

Defense
B.James 11 tackles
K.Rivers 9 tackles
P.Sims 4 tackles, TFL, sack

I had 5 players make the pro-bowl
(overall/potential)
LG C.Johnson (80/80)
DE C.Lawrence (92/95)
MLB K.Morrison (89/89)
CB D.Hall (80/80)
P S.Weatherford (83/85)

Re: Raiders Franchise

Wow, good game by Beck. Look like you have a QB controversy on your hands.

You could say that, until you saw the results of my last game of the season against the redskins, where I had to bench him for Russell late in the 4th. I lost 17-10 thanks to some stellar play from my D, who helped keep the game close against one of the best teams in the league in the skins.

Passing
J.Beck 2/20 for 10 yards, INT
J****ssell 2/2 for 8 yards

Rushing
J.Fargas 17/71, TD
M.Bush 10/33

Blocking
N.Cole, C.Johnson, and K.Harris each allowed a sack

Defense
T.Howard 10 tackles, INT
K.Morrison 9 tackles, 3 INT
T,Williams 9 tackles, INT
D.Hall 4 tackles, INT
C.Okeafor 2 tackles, TFL, sack

Redskins

Passing
J.Campbell 17/30 for 244 yards, TD/6INT

Rushing
C.Portis 11/51

Recieving
L.Betts 7/136, TD

Defense
F.Smoot 3 tackles, INT
M.Washington 11 tackles
R.McIntosh 7 tackles, TFL ,sack
A.Carter 2 tackles, 2TFL, sack
A.Shankleback 3 tackles, TFL, sack

I got a ton of pressure but little to show for it in the stat sheet again. But these pressures did lead to most of the picks(one was just a sick dive by Howard). However my O could not capitalize on this, which has been the story all year.
