Re: Arsenal's Title Challenge (PES2009)

Arsenal 2, Newcastle United 1

Alexandre Song receives Man of the Match with his exceptional play in the midfield.

Match Highlights

3' Arsenal build an attack through the center of the pitch. Alexandre Song passes wide to Tomas Rosicky who passes back to Song, Song passes to Emmanuel Adebayor who holds the ball for a second to draw a defender and then passes back to Song who has made a forward run towards the box. Song hits the ball first time and hits a well-placed shot into the bottom left corner of the net out of reach of Shay Given. 1-0 Arsenal

38' Newcastle United win a corner. Geremi swings in a dangerous ball into the box, William Gallas times his jump poorly and misses his header clearance. Obafemi Martins is able to react fast enough to head the ball past Manuel Almunia. 1-1

39' Tomas Rosicky dribbles down the left wing and plays a good ball to Robin Van Persie in the middle. Van Persie makes a great pass to Adebayor who found himself some space, Adebayor receives the pass and immediately attempts a chip into the box towards Van Persie. Cacapa tries to head the ball away but mistimes his clearance and ends up putting the ball into his own net past Given. 2-1 Arsenal

46' 1 substitution: Diagne Faye on for Cacapa. (Newcastle United)

49' Robin Van Persie dribbles down the left side of the field and makes a dangerous move to try and get into the box. Nicky Butt makes a lousy challenge from behind on Van Persie and takes him down just outside the box. The referee shows Butt a straight red card and awards Arsenal a free kick just outside the box. Robin Van Persie hits the free kick well but can't get enough bend on it, and it hits the side netting.

64' 2 substitutions: Theo Walcott on for Cesc Fabregas and Carlos Vela on for Robin Van Persie. Robin Van Persie picked up a slight injury, and may have to miss the next game. (Arsenal)

67' 1 substitution: James Milner on for Jose Enrique. (Newcastle United)

77' 1 substitution: Mark Viduka on for James Milner. (Newcastle United)

Re: Arsenal's Title Challenge (PES2009)

Can you recommend me the best PES game for the 360 or PS3 other than 09? Loved it on the original xbox. Don't want to buy it new because I know it won't get a ton of play. Thanks.

This is too unrealistic. Rosicky should be sitting on the sidelines enjoying his season off.

Actually, Arsenal tying Fullham is pretty realistic. Especially giving up a second half equalizer.
