I don't agree with recent rules changes MLB has made to try to make the game "exciting". It was perfectly fine for 100 years.

50 years ago the average baseball game took 1.5 -- 2 hours to play. Then in 1975 Andy Messersmith became the first player to make $1 million per season and the game became increasingly longer every year to the point where it was nearly impossible to play a game in under 3 hours. Longer games brought in more TV revenue as well as more concession revenue.

I love college football but have low expectations when it comes to EA. I just really hope that it isn't a disaster like the Madden 06 360 game.

"I've been really enjoying FC 24, the presentation is just superb and the game makes it seem like, well it's a real game with big stakes, which got me thinking, I hope EA's College Football can be more like this game and less like Madden in the excitement department. "

I would love to know why the Madden dev team simply cannot get the crowd to sound like
these videos, the difference is just night and day. There seems to be no real difference to crowd noise, or player excitement regardless of the importance of the game. The shaky cam tracking the player after the goal seems to at least be a part of what makes it seem so much more emotional and real. The commentary of Gauden and Davis needs to go too, I would prefer actors that can emote properly to the on field results over known guys that can't. Just so much possibility left to rot when it comes to Madden and the emotional attachment a player has to the on field/crowd reaction stuff. There have been small strides I know, but not nearly enough.

You're absolutely right, like this year it seems they did update/modify the sound but it's still abysmal compared to games like FC 24. I am not sure why they can't get help from the soccer team at EA since it seems they have it right.

My guess is it's stubborn pride by the Madden team..
