Hmmm. Personally I’ve seen nothing about a new update coming on Aug 1st. My guess is that it will be just before CFB season start some in a few weeks. But I hope I’m wrong.

August 1st is literally tomorrow, no way EA pays to put out 2 patches so close together.

We wouldn't have seen this patch today if another one is already being tested to release.

Got home from work this morning, and got a prop saying the game has an update.
1st thing I noticed was that the wear and tear seems to be working. Took a hit with Travis Hunter in the first quarter, and he was out until midway through the second.
Started getting wear and tear updates throughout the game more frequently than before the update.
Secondly, the man to man defense seems to be better. Need to play another game to confirm. Before the update, every time I used a man defense, it resulted in defenders allowing receivers to just run right by them leading to big gains, or TD's. Now defenders seem to break on the ball a little better and break up plays. Again, need to play a few more games to see if this is consistent.

The pursuit angles. Lack of blocking on kick offs. turnovers result in a return TD 90% of the time. This is what I need to see fixed.
