Chip Kelly Oregon offense

Does anyone know of a playbook in the game that somewhat resembles the Chip kelly oregon offense? I've been using liberty but it doesn't feel quite right as it's a bit more heavy based than Chip IMO with lots of TE and double TE. I've searched for breakdowns to make a custom book but can't really find anything with a formation list etc the way you can find with say a mike leach book.

My coach build is a scheme guru so I really want to run that up tempo spread zone/option game to maximize that.

I would take a look at Jacksonville St with Rich Rod's offense. Not quite the same, but similar enough to use for a base. The Y Trips Offset formation in particular has a lot of Chip Kelly to it. Of course, you can always look at the Ohio St playbook as they have a lot of Chip's buck sweeps and wide zones.

Thanks! will look into those further. After reading your suggestions i looked into other playbooks with more wide zone and found the Toledo playbook seems actually pretty decent as well for this.

Re: Chip Kelly Oregon offense

Can someone give me a suggestion on which offense would be the equivalent of a fastbreak offense in basketball and a full court press defense? Thanks for any input.

I would the closest thing to a fast break offense in football would be an Air Raid Offense. Lots of passing, no huddle offense, fast tempo. Tennessee gives you a mix of the Art Briles air raid with Run/Pass options mixed in.

Kendal Briles (Art's son) is the Offensive Coordinator at TCU so I would look at their playbook too.

Full court press defense I'd say a lot of tight press man coverage and a lot of blitzes. I think a 3-3-5 defense because of the flexibility and the ability to blitz from lots of angles.

I don't claim to know how official this is, but content creator King Reggie put this up about a month ago comping Chip's Oregon O to the USC playbook:

I think it makes sense if you're looking for spread runs but still being tough about it by forcing teams to bring more defenders to the middle of the field.

I still have NCAAf 13, Kelly's last year at Oregon. I wonder if that playbook is what you are looking for, and I wonder if those plays are in CFB25.

Fishduck was the website that had a lot of in depth information in Oregon's offense back then.
