Re: What has your experience been for those who dropped from All American to Varsity?

So I tried out a "play now" game last night on Varsity. Someone mentioned 33 for the offensive sliders for HUM/CPU and then 66 for the defensive sliders for HUM/CPU. I tried it. Still was a massive shootout. I took WVU against Colorado. 35-34 final. I didn't feel like playing OT, so when I scored to make it 35-34, I went for two and didn't get it. It was definitely challenging, but I'm getting kind of the same experience on AA. That only difference is passing is easier. On AA, you never know how that ball is gonna act - even when you have an open man with separation, but I didn't experience that on Varsity. Gonna play around with it more.

The offensive sliders are too high using that approach

Trust me you got to go lower

I been experimenting on this level since ncaa 10 there are certain user sliders that you absutely have to go lower on an they still function because of the user advantage on varsity

It's kinda like the opposite effect of Heisman when cpu has the advantage

How did I just give up 11 sacks on default VARSITY? I’m so ashamed.

Please tell me your team was the local pee wee league, and the opposing team was the Georgia of two years ago. Or is this update related?

Hold your judgment, sir! 😂

This was my 85+ OVR 2029 JMU team playing against a Top 25 UCF I think it was. They just got pressure pretty quickly. Now I’ll admit, since moving down to Varsity I probably don’t use line adjustments like I was on AA lol and since JC Evans graduated my newest Sr (RS) scrambler is faster so I got in trouble a few times doing that. LOL

Ha ha ha, no judgment at all. You just wait. When I crank this game up next time, my 86+ SDSU dynasty team will allow double the sacks you gave up... and against a much worse team. Keep on rolling brother.

Re: What has your experience been for those who dropped from All American to Varsity?

You play enough games and you start to see everything...

My 5-1 Wolverines were ranked 10th, hosting a 1-5 Maryland team whose only win was FCS. 95/96/95 VS 82/82/82. I got destroyed. 45-7 at halftime. I missed a few tackles in the rain and my QB threw his usual picks. I have no other logical explanation. It just happens sometimes. I beat two top 10 teams at the start of the season to climb back to the top of the polls after my down years on AA. All three of those games on the same Varsity sliders (A&S tweaked). Varsity is the truth. I went to bed angry. Apologies to my family and my vocal cords 😅

Yep, right there with ya. Beat a all 90+ USC team pretty easily then just now lost to 4-4 Beavers and week before had to get a TD w/ 15 seconds left to beat 0-7 Old Dominion. Now I have to play Oregon and I'm tilted. Ofc the usual picks are always thrown. 80% completion on the year but they always get those magnet plays. I'm just playing straight Varsity no slider changes. It's plenty tough.
