I just need to test USU position changes for OL or RE/LE and then sim a year ahead in my PSU dyn to see if I can change my current players next year to better reflect where I need them. If so I can survive for a year. If not, I might have to start over. Will try to test later and report back.

Ok, update:

I simmed to the end of my Utah State dyn - making a RT a LT now has no bearing on rating, which is great. Same with LE/RE, LOLB/ROLB. No FCS games were scheduled but I could change all of my non-con games.

And even happier to report on my PSU dynasty that while position changes still jack ratings in my current year (since I moved past the position change screen), once I simmed season 2, the position changes for the next offseason worked as intended. So I just have to keep my 5star OT at RT for one season before I can move him to LT without completely nuking his rating. Not a huge issue. Same for other positions.

Not to beat a dead horse but it blows my mind how poor EA’s communication is regarding updates. It must be intentional to avoid all of the negative sentiment they probably get (“You fixed X but not Y, broken game and I’m uninstalling”, etc) because otherwise it just doesn’t make any sense. We have to patch together random tweets from influencers or manually test stuff ourselves to actually know what changes. I’ve never seen another game do this before, even Apex which is still owned by EA is 1000x more transparent.

Just a simple “This morning we released the same update for offline dynasties that we were able to fix last week for online dynasties. It includes the following: ….” would do wonders.

Pretty sure they can disable replies on Twitter too. Or limit them to accounts they follow. So that could avoid the vitriol they might get. I just assume they suck at their jobs.

If it's something else he's talking about, I haven't seen it. But every single time I line up in FG block, the entire defensive line (all 9 or 10) move the exact same way at the exact same time, creating a very strange visual.
