2024 Uniform Updates Thread

I have a feeling something drops before the Army/Navy game and that's it.

After finding a bunch on the handful of smaller schools I looked at, I decided to spend a couple days and go through all 134 FBS teams to look for missing (or in some cases, incorrect) uniform pieces. Overall, I found 265 missing pieces (not counting corrections) across 92 teams. Most of them are pretty minor things. For example, there are 10 missing helmets for South Alabama because they mix and match several different helmet decals, one on each side.

The significant ones (like brand new helmet color, or new jerseys or pants) that I've never seen mentioned in here:

NC State's Black Jerseys should have red numbers and Wordmark, not the white they have in game.

TCU had some unique Gray Alts earlier in November that slid under my radar, plus their purple chrome helmets have a scale pattern on them now.

Miami (OH) had some Gray unis of their own last month.

Ohio has the wrong style of stripes for their black jersey; game has them with the same shoulder stripes as their home and away, they have the shorter UCLA style

Utah State has a black set now

As does Louisiana

And finally, South Alabama no longer wears the white jersey in the game, they used a different one all this season. They also use a different style of stripes on their white and red pants (navy pants are correct in game, though).

I posted a game day photo of them wearing them. They wore them against Hawai'i. It's also on the team's Instagram page on a post from November 11. Numbers and Wordmark are outlined in Utah State's blue (so it's barely noticeable). Looks like the logo on the helmet is black as well.

Everything I've posted is taken either from Getty or the school's social media.

Hey can u update university Illinois Illni uniforms and helmets. THE Orange on the uniforms and helmets are red Orange . The Uniforms needs to be a mid to light Orange 🍊 not a dark red Orange .. Also Syracuse Orange uniforms needs to be Orange too .

I dunno, looks pretty close to me. Illinois's shade of orange (hex code ff5f05) is definitely on the redder side of orange. Much more red than, for example, UTEP.
