Can you effectively run the flexbone or do teams still get to you before you can hand the ball off or pitch the ball?

Does cpu run any base defense other then the 4-3? I.E. ASU 3-3-5 TCU 3-3-5 BYU 3-3-5 you get the idea everyone ran the 4-3 as a base defense drove me nuts?

Do the impact players change halfway though the season? Do you pick the Impact players in year two of your dynasty or does the CPU do it for you?
