are you going to say ESPN has a arcadey feel as well? because they had meters and I don't see you complaining about that. Obviously the power up buttons were very realistic.

I thought I did mention that I didn't like meters. Yes, ESPN had meters. So naturally, I didn't like the meters in ESPN. I didn't see the need to spell that out. I mentioned meters in general. I didn't attach them to any game in particular... Madden or ESPN. But OK...

Yes, meters added an arcady flavor to ESPN games as well. I guess the difference is that user pop-ups ocurr on every play, so there's more of an arcady feel to the EA game. But that seems to be the nature of Madden... higher scores, easier passing(let's see how the cones effect that), pop-ups, ect. I'm sure it's part of the reason the game is so popular.

Would you like me to post about how much I didn't like player indicators specifically in ESPN as well?

well when you only mentioned one company in particular one has to speculate that you don't feel the same about the other company.

You're reaching bruh. I mentioned EA in regard to the pop-ups. ESPN didn't have those. Why would I have mentioned them in that regard?

Then I brought up ESPN Football because Sega made the game(CHoops) that eliminated meters. Why wouldn't I expect them to do the same with their other games in the following years?

I labeled EA arcady because it's the most arcady of the "sim" sports games, partly because of things like pop-ups. If you disagree, maybe you could bring up reasons why instead of the route you took.

So it looks like I mentioned 3 games for different and valid reasons. Are you a little sensitive about EA and maybe got a bit defensive without fully digesting my post?
