Please Explain Coverage

Does anyone know what the "white" circles in the coverage options mean?
I'm not talking about the impact players. The blue means "spy", yellow means "zone", white means ?
Thanks in advance.

If I'm not mistaken, doesnt white mean that man is an impact player? I play with an impact at cornerback, so whatever coverage he is assigned is always white

Hi Merg,
No, thats not it in this instance. I am playing with Penn State and there are quite a few coverages where my non impact players have large white circles around them, kinda like the yellow that signifies zone coverage. The only possible answer that I could come up with may be that this may mean they are reading the play and reacting accordingly...but I'm not completely sure if this is correct.

Re: Please Explain Coverage

I've only seen this when an impact player goes into zone coverage. *shrug*

Not to hijack the thread, but it's a similar (possibly relevant) issue I've had for years and never able to figure out:

On offense, some passing plays include blue route arrows instead of yellow or white in the case of impact players. Is blue indicative of a delayed route where the player stays to block first and then leaves? That's my suspicion, but I've never had it confirmed.

You are correct.

Re: Please Explain Coverage

Are you sure they aren't impact players? Because the white does signify an impact player. With a white circle, depending on the size, it would mean your impact player is either playing zone, or on a QB spy.

Re: Please Explain Coverage

I think the white circle does mean that's your impact player,I use Texas A&M in my dynasty and my only impact player on defense in the ss#19,and when I play zone he's the only one with the white circle.
